In Pictures: The Vida V1 Pro Electric Scooter Review comes with a trick up its sleeve

Hero MotoCorp has finally entered the electric two-wheeler market with a new sub-brand called Vida. There are two electric scooters on sale Vida V1 Pro and Vida V1 Plus.
The biggest selling point of the Vida V1 Pro is the fact that it comes with a removable battery pack. Therefore, customers can simply remove the battery pack and take it home to charge.
The removable battery pack really comes in handy. So, if you live in an apartment or don’t have access to a charging socket near your parking spot, removable batteries come in handy. Additionally, Vida Electric also supports fast charging using the ether grid.
Vida Electric uses a PMSM electric motor that can produce a continuous power output of 3.9 kW and a peak power output of 6 kWh. Torque output is 25 Nm. The throttle is very well calibrated, there are no sudden jolts of power and the electric motor is able to register throttle input even if the rider gives the slightest input.

The TFT screen is not a touchscreen and can be controlled by the buttons on the left side switchgear. There is an ambient sensor so it can automatically shift between day and night mode. There is also Bluetooth connectivity through the app but we couldn’t test it.
The boot is surprisingly deep and can hold a full size helmet. There is also a small space at the front which can be used to store the charger. However, it does get messy so we suggest you get a cloth bag for it.
The LED headlamps have a unique daytime running lamp whose design language has also been carried over to the tail lamps. The projector headlamp setup provides a nice throw and spread on the road.
Vida V1 Pro comes with keyless entry. The key fob stays in your pocket, the rider just needs to walk up to the scooter and press a button and the scooter starts. However, the quality of the key fob is not great.
The quality of the switchgear and overall scooter is decent. However, considering the product coming from Hero MotoCorp, we expected it to be better.
