Hema Malini uploaded several photos of her meeting with local farmers.

Mathura:

Hema Malini, a BJP MP and candidate from Mathura constituency, has been busy campaigning for the Lok Sabha polls and recently visited a wheat field in Uttar Pradesh.

Ms. Marini posted several photos on X of her meetings with local farmers.

“Today I walked into the farm and interacted with the farmers I’ve met regularly for the last ten years. They loved having me among them and insisted that I take photos with them, which I did,” she wrote.

Hema Malini was elected to the Mathura Lok Sabha seat for the third consecutive time by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

From 1991 to 1999, Mathura became the stronghold of the BJP four times. In 2004, Mathura was transferred to Congress’s account. In 2009, Jayant Chaudhary of RLD became Mathura MP.

In 2014, the BJP fielded Hema Malini to win. In the 2019 elections, Hema’s husband, actor Dharmendra, also campaigned for her and gathered huge crowds in support of her. Thanks to the public welfare programs of the dual-engine government, Mathura once again had a lotus bloom in 2019, and Hema Malini became a member of Parliament.

Uttar Pradesh has sent the maximum number of MPs to the Assembly, which is 80, and will go to polls in all seven phases. Voting for the first and second phases will be held on April 19 and April 26. Next, the state will go to the third phase of voting again on May 7 and the fourth phase of voting on May 13. Voters in Uttar Pradesh will also vote in the fifth, sixth and seventh phases on May 20, May 23 and June 1 respectively.
