“Hey Yuzi, congratulations on your 150th IPL match. I have said it before and I will say it today. Congratulations, we feel for you and your contribution to your previous teams and now to Rajasthan Royals Very proud. We’re very proud of the way you play and how well you perform every time. We all love you for it. Whenever the competition comes under pressure. You are the bowler who comes to take that wicket,” Dhanashree Verma said. Video released by Rajasthan Royals.

“I am your biggest cheerleader and I will always support you 100%. Have a great 150th IPL match. Halla bol.”

Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans have played five games this season, winning two and losing three. GT has 4 points and an NRR of -0.797, ranking seventh in the IPL standings.

RR have won five of their last five matches in the IPL on Wednesday, while GT have won two of their last five matches.

Matthew Wade and Abhinav Manohar replaced Kane Williamson and BR Sharath in the Titans starting lineup.

GT captain Gill said during the game: “The first thing is to bowl. In case it rains during the game, you want to chase things down. When your main player is injured, it is not easy to arrange a fielding lineup. There are several changes – Ma Shweder comes on for Kane. Manohar comes on for Sharath. We are in a very good position over the last few games. It’s just about finishing the crucial situations. The batting part is easy. When I bat, I don’t think about captaincy. As captain, you have to give confidence to the players.”

RR captain Sanju Samson said, “We also wanted to bowl first. This journey has been special. But as we all know, leading a team cannot be done by one person. Thanks to Sanga and the team for their support. Even though we have won all four Every game, there are different challenges. It’s a little confusing (about the lineup). You can see it on the table.”

Gujarat Titans (Starting XI): Shubman Gill (centre), Sai Sudarsan, Vijay Shankar, Abhinav Manohar, Matthew Wade (female), Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Umesh Yadav, Spencer Johnson, Noor Ahmed and Mohit Sharma.
