There was a new hero in the Indian Premier League match between Lucknow Super Giants and Pujab Kings on Saturday, with debutant pacer Mayank Yadav bringing in his pace and Accuracy beats PBKS batsmen. Mayank was the star of the match as he took three wickets to help Lucknow beat Punjab by 21 runs. With figures of 3/27, Mayank dominated the scoring rate of the PBKS batsmen, picking the wickets of Jonny Bairstow, Prabhsimran Singh and Jitesh Sharma.
The 21-year-old speedster consistently delivers speeds in excess of 150 km/h. One of the pitches reached a speed of 155.8 km/h, setting a record for the fastest pitch this season.

After the match, Mayank said in his post-match speech: “I always hear from others that there are nerves on debut but after the first ball the nerves disappear.
