Five episodes of UK news program produced by Tory MP found to have breached Ofcom rules

Ofcom has found that five episodes of a British news program produced by Conservative MPs breached broadcasting rules.

Two episodes of Jacob Rees-Mogg’s State of the Union, two episodes of Friday Mornings with Esther and Phil (featuring former pensions minister Esther McVey and Hosted by her husband, long-time MP Philip Davies) and an episode of Saturday Morning with Esther and Phil, aired during May and June 2023, the program failed to comply with Rule 5.1 of the Broadcasting Code and 5.3.
