Justin Trudeau’s ex-wife avoids talking about their ‘claimed’ affair by Meghan Markle

Justin Trudeau’s ex-wife Sophie Trudeau has reportedly avoided discussing the bond she shares with Meghan Markle.

The Duchess of Sussex and the former wife of the Canadian prime minister are friends, according to Meghan, who spoke about Sophie on her now-defunct podcast Archetypes in November 2022.

She gushed at the time: “I’ve been going to her for advice for years,” adding how Sophie “sent me little attentions during my pregnancy” and gave her voice notes “for encouragement.”

Meghan continued to describe how their children played together while Sophie and Meghan drank and “had fun just like school girls”.

Meanwhile, when Sophie was recently asked about her friendship with the American Riviera Orchard founder, she struck a different tune.

But now, in an interview with The Times, Sophie has said: “I know him… but we haven’t spent much time together.”

But in 2020, the pair seemed to be quite close as they posed up a storm on a girls’ night out with Jessica Mulroney as they posed for cheek-to-cheek photos at a Toronto rooftop bar.

These photobooth snaps have now been analyzed by Judy James, a body language expert, who noted that the pair looked “close”, but added that the snaps “should not be evaluated like normal snaps”.

He exclusively told The Mirror: “Anyone who has enjoyed a photo booth at a party or wedding will know that they bring out your more extroverted, spontaneous side when it comes to posing, So these photos of Meghan and Sophie should not be evaluated like normal posing choices.”

Judy added: “However, even taking into account the tendency for exaggeration, it seems extraordinary to claim that their relationship was as ‘good’ here as Sophie wants to make it out to be, suggesting a close relationship at this point. Could give which has become cold for some reason.’

“These poses suggest closeness and an entirely casual relationship that is playful as well as friendly. They would connect more to Meghan’s ‘dirty’ claim as two high-profile women who have status brands to protect , they are unlikely to drop their reservations and continue posing like this until they are completely comfortable in each other’s company.”
