Prince William and Princess Kate are establishing a “safe family” environment for their young children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, a royal historian has claimed.

The Prince and Princess of Wales married in 2011 after almost a decade of dating.

The couple now have three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, six.

Kate, 42, is passionate about providing a stable family home for her three children, particularly through her work in the early years.

Marlene Koenig, a royal historian, spoke exclusively to GB News and explained how Kate’s parenting strategy will be seen as a “positive thing”.

She said: “The Princess of Wales does a lot of work behind the scenes with meetings, education and other charities.

“We don’t see bread-and-butter commitments.

“I think it will be seen as a positive thing in the future.

“Harry and William grew up in a broken home. After their separation, they met their parents only 40 days a year due to school and other things.

“Diana was coming back to bring the boys to school because they were with their father.

“And yes, Charles did his best after Diana died. He spent more time with her.

“It was a different generation than the way he and his siblings were brought up.”

The royal historian said Prince William learned from his parents’ mistakes when choosing Princess Kate.

Koenig explained: “William has taken it a step further in that he recognizes the importance of marrying someone who comes from a very stable family, that it’s important to give the kids what they need, and they Adult royals would be much better suited for this.”

In the couple’s engagement interview, Prince William confirmed that he wanted to learn from his parents’ mistakes.

He said: “I wanted to give him a chance to look inside and come back out if he needed to, before it all got too much. I am trying to learn from the past. I just wanted to give it the best chance to settle in and see what happens on the other side.”
