Under these subscription plans, users can enjoy an ad-free browsing experience and access features like tweet editing. Additionally, Premium+ subscribers will have exclusive access to GrokAI, Elon Musk’s innovative chatbot inspired by The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Known for its witty responses and rebellious charm, this chatbot was previously only available to Premium+ subscribers, who had to pay Rs. 1300 per month or 13600 per year service.

As competition with OpenAI escalates, Elon Musk has decided to extend these perks to a wider audience. The move marks a strategic shift for Musk since he acquired Twitter (now known as X) in October 2022, and he has been actively steering the platform toward a subscription-based model. Notably, one of his first moves was to end the legacy verification program, which provided free blue ticks to high-profile individuals such as celebrities, journalists, musicians, and government officials.

In a statement shared on X, Musk definitely“Going forward, all 𝕏 accounts with over 2,500 verified subscription followers will receive free Premium features, and accounts over 5,000 will receive free Premium+.”
