As expected, the Apple Vision Pro is in high demand, with many people using it for different purposes, including some not-so-legal matters. Interestingly, however, the $3,499 headphones are already doing well as a first-generation product, and Apple has already generated interest in the device outside of the United States.

In fact, some people are desperate to have the Vision Pro shipped to their shores, and they seem happy to spend big bucks to make it happen. In recent days, the Vision Pro has flooded markets in Japan, China and Singapore, with offers well above the market price for the headset.

According to Bloomberg, people are being asked to pay well over $5,000 (roughly Rs. 4 lakh) to buy the device, and could even exceed $6,000 (roughly Rs. 5 lakh), depending on who the seller is and which one they want to buy model. Experts note that Apple could have a major impact on the mixed reality space with the Vision Pro, but even they may not have foreseen this level of demand.

Apple has cleverly limited its official availability in the U.S., with reports suggesting a launch in China in the coming weeks. But for others, Apple has no official channels, which means, like the iPhone’s black marketing, people are prepared to spend big money to import the Vision Pro from the United States, which is not easy while the customs agency remains. Keep an eye on these shipments.

Apple Vision Pro is currently only available in the United States. The Vision Pro comes in three models: a 256GB base model, a 512GB model, and a high-end 1TB model. They are priced at $3,499, $3,699 and $3,899 respectively. The headset received its first beta update, which fixes an issue that eliminates the need to go to the store to reset the device every time.
