Google searches have definitely become more seamless with the introduction of Circle Search. This artificial intelligence tool only works on Samsung’s S24 series (S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra) as well as Google’s Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. This feature allows users to draw a circle around an image or text displayed on any application that supports screen capture.

Once you use the S Pen or your finger to outline the part you want, it automatically takes you to a Google results page showing details about the object or text. With Circle To Search, you can now perform a Google search for any item of interest in an image or text without leaving the application or entering search results.

You just need to keep cellular data turned on to use Circle Search.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to set up and use Circle Search on your device:

1. Press and hold the home button or long press on the gesture navigation bar to get a prompt about Circle Search.
2. The next window will show a tutorial on how to use this feature.
3. Click on the “Try Now” option to activate the tool.
4. Visit any app and draw a circle around any image or text to search for it on Google. If you make the mistake of selecting the desired area, you can adjust the circle later.
5. Once you select an image or part of the text, a Google results page will pop up.
6. You can use a two-finger pinch to zoom in on your subject. It is also possible to filter quarries by adding more phrases in the search box. You can return to the previous app using the back button, swiping down from the top of the search window, or tapping the X button in the upper left corner.

For security reasons, users are advised not to use circle search functionality in banking or other sensitive applications. You can also revisit your search history and delete previous search results by clicking the three-dot menu in the upper right corner of the Search Circles page.
