He said the state had gone through a “nightmare” five-year rule under Jagan Reddy.

TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu said on Saturday that Janasena, the BJP and the TDP have joined hands to oust the ruling YSRCP party in Andhra Pradesh and ensure that there is no split in the anti-incumbency votes.

Addressing a public meeting at Pedakurapadu in Palnadu district as part of the Prajagalam election canvassing tour, the former chief minister said the NDA partners are united for the future of Andhra Pradesh.

“Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has issued an appeal to the people that they should join hands to eliminate this evil state (YSRCP). TDP, Janasena and BJP join hands to focus on The future for all of you,” Naidu said.

He said the state had endured a “nightmare” five-year rule under Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Naidu said that the Muslim community has been subjected to great injustice under the YSRCP government. The TDP leader assured the community that he will be personally responsible for their safety.

Naidu said the TDP, which was previously part of the NDA, was not unfair to the Muslim community.

Naidu called Reddy a “power-hungry” man and alleged that there were various types of robbery in Andhra Pradesh, adding that sand mining had become a lucrative business.

He also claimed that if the construction of Amaravati is completed, the state will get revenue of Rs 100 crore every year, adding that Reddy has completely destroyed the state.

When talking about plans for the next 20 years, Naidu recalled the “Vision 2020” he announced in 2000 and said that by 2047, India will become the world’s number one country.

Elections for Andhra Pradesh’s 175-member Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats are scheduled to be held on May 13, with counting of votes set for June 4.
