Britney Spears is reflecting as she approaches the one-year anniversary of her split from ex-husband Sam Asghari.

The pop princess took to her Instagram on Thursday to share a throwback video of herself dancing with Asgari, who spun her around and lifted her into the air.

“When he came to pick me up,” she began in the caption of the post, which has since been deleted.

She continued, “It’s weird because in any journey you go on with someone, relationships with friends, family, or loved ones always take strange turns! Looking back is sometimes hard, but honestly Say it’s important.”

Spears and Asgari divorced in 2023 after only 14 months of marriage.
