Blinken says 'divisions are narrowing' in Gaza truce talks

Antony Blinken is traveling to the Middle East to secure a ceasefire in Gaza.

Cairo:

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Thursday that “divisions are narrowing” in ongoing talks with Qatar aimed at reaching a ceasefire and releasing hostages in Gaza.

Blinken told a Cairo news conference that the United States was “continuing to push for a deal in Doha,” adding that “achieving that goal will be difficult, but I believe it is still possible.”
