Odisha state president Manmohan Samal today said the BJP will contest the Odisha Lok Sabha and Assembly elections alone.

The state party president said the ruling BJD and the opposition BJP are holding pre-poll alliance talks, adding that the BJP has decided to contest the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections without an alliance.

“The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will fight this election alone in all 21 Lok Sabha seats and 147 seats in the Lok Sabha to create a nation under the visionary leadership of the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi A developed India and a developed Odisha to fulfill the hopes, aspirations and goals. The aspirations of four and a half crore Odias,” Mr. Samar said in a post on X.
