Beyoncé owns a hair care brand called Sacred by Beyoncé Knowles

Beyoncé’s long, shiny blonde hair has always been an iconic part of her brand. But despite more than two decades of experimenting with colors, styles and wigs, her natural hair has remained healthy and strong, despite what many people think about African-textured hair.

To challenge the stereotype, Queen Bey took to Instagram on Sunday to share her wash day rituals and offer a glimpse of her natural hair.

“The stigma and misconception is that people who wear wigs don’t have long and healthy hair. This is bullshit, ’cause it ain’t nobody’s business,’ she insisted in the clip.

The secret behind her healthy hair, apart from her talented team of hair stylists, is her hair care brand, Sacred.

In the caption of the video, the 32-time Grammy winner reflected on her journey of challenging misconceptions and breaking stereotypes, not only through her music, but also through her hair.

“Being disruptive and challenging everything that people think the process should be has always been exciting to me,” he wrote. My hair and music have done just that over the years.”

Beyoncé concluded, “25 years of going blonde on natural hair through all the experimentation I’ve done has played a big role in developing @cecred’s products. Keeping colored hair healthy and strong is the hardest part, but @cecred is here.
