The BBC has been forced to defend its coverage of the Princess of Wales’s cancer diagnosis as “excessive and insensitive” after complaints.
Kate revealed in an emotional video posted on March 22 that she was undergoing treatment for the disease.
The broadcaster, which aired the full video, said in a statement released on Friday in response to the complaint that it was “mindful” of how it reported and would not speculate on details that have not yet been made public.
Meanwhile, royal author Tom Quinn claims Prince Harry will have to meet his father King Charles and brother Prince William if the Duke of Sussex travels to the UK next month to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invincibles.
mr quin told Mirror: “If he decided not to come it would require some explanation because everyone would assume it was because he didn’t want to see his brother or the embarrassment of having to choose not to see him.
“Not coming would be worse than finding some kind of compromise where Harry meets William for 10 minutes, or coming up with some excuse as to why he doesn’t have time to see his brother and father and has to return to the United States as soon as possible.” But no one is fooled by these excuses. “
