The brother of Nottingham stabbing victim Barnaby Webb has admitted he was still struggling in his sibling’s bedroom nine months after the horrific attack.

In June last year, 19-year-olds Barnaby O’Malley-Kumar and Grace O’Malley-Kumar were repeatedly assaulted while returning home from a night out. Valdo Calocane was stabbed and the attacker then killed school administrator Ian Coates.

In a new BBC documentary, Big case: Nottingham attackCharlie took a moment to walk around his brother’s room.

“It’s weird coming here because no one really comes in and nothing changes,” he said, pointing to some items.
