Ukraine’s military said on Monday that Russia had attacked the country overnight with seven drones and three missiles.

The Ukrainian Air Force said its air defense systems shot down five drones, and all interceptions were carried out over the Odessa region in southern Ukraine.

Odessa regional governor Ole Kiper said on Telegram that the airstrike damaged warehouse buildings and agricultural machinery.

Kiper said there were no reports of injuries.

The latest attack comes as the U.S. Senate is expected to approve legislation this week that would include $60 billion in aid to Ukraine.

The measure has passed the U.S. House of Representatives and is supported by President Joe Biden.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an evening speech on Sunday that the plan included “very much anticipated items for our frontline fighters.”

Zelensky said the time between the passage of the bill and the arrival of military aid in the hands of Ukrainian forces “must be as short as possible.”
