Islamabad, Pakistan:

According to Dawn report, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will organize its first nationwide ‘power show’ on Sunday after May 9 on the call of jailed Prime Minister and party founder Imran Khan.

The party’s central notice said, “We have given clear instructions to the ticket holders to come out at 2 pm and hold rallies and public meetings in their constituencies. They will address the voters and send the message that PTI will not give up its place to anyone Will not allow you to take it.” Secretary Rauf Hasan said.

The party will also release its 158-page manifesto covering all major issues of Pakistan on Sunday.

Earlier this week, founding president Imran Khan directed all ticket holders to take to the streets and roads across the country on Sunday. According to Dawn report, he warned that the tickets of those who would not attend the rallies would be cancelled.

Later, the former Prime Minister’s sister also spoke to the media persons and gave a message to the party workers and ticket holders through the media.

This announcement caused panic among many ticket holders, as they were already hiding at various places to avoid their arrest. They fear that many of them will be arrested on Sunday.

However, Mr Hasan said a message has been given to all leadership to hold rallies across the country without fear of arrest.

“He may be arrested but we believe it will not affect his election campaign. In fact, he may get more votes.” [of sympathy] Because voters must be watching whatever is happening with PTI. We have also released a video message in that regard.”

Responding to a question, Mr Hasan agreed that although Section 144 was not imposed because other parties were holding public meetings, PTI workers could be arrested.

PTI workers had protested across the country after the arrest of Imran Khan from Islamabad High Court on May 9 last year. However, the protests turned into riots and some of the mob attacked military installations.

On Saturday, PTI ticket holders held a virtual conference and suggested the public to vote in his favour.

Throughout the conference, efforts were made to reach out to the public on how they could know about the symbol and candidate supported by PTI in their constituency, as the party was deprived of its symbol ‘Bat’ and all ticket holders Was contesting elections as him. Independent candidate.

The conference was moderated by PTI’s social media chiefs Gibran Ilyas and Ali Malik. Around 2,400 people were watching the conference on PTI’s official YouTube channel at around 8.30 pm. Their number increased to 3,400 at 9 pm and 4,000 at 10:30 pm, Dawn reported.

Mr. Khan’s message was also played during the conference. He said that the dream is to create a state like ‘Riyasat-e-Madina’, where there is justice in the country. He said that if justice and merit is ensured then no one will have to go out of the country for a job.
