New Delhi:
Mumbai Customs on Monday said it had seized over 8.10 kilograms of gold worth Rs 481 crore and arrested six passengers.
The Mumbai Customs Zone 3 Airport Commissioner said the arrested passengers had gold hidden in their clothes, body and rectum.
Between April 6 and 7, 12 separate cases recovered.
Customs said one passenger had a gold chain, a rhodium-plated pendant and a locket concealed on his person, while another had gold wax in an oval-shaped capsule hidden in his rectum.

Earlier last week, Mumbai Customs seized over 4.37 kilograms of gold worth Rs 24.6 crore and arrested three passengers.
They also seized 172.96 kilograms of assorted silver jewelery worth Rs 259 crore, electronic items and cosmetics worth Rs 22.90 lakh.
