350 Muslim devotees completed a six-day foot march from Lucknow to Ayodhya and paid obeisance at the Ram temple. The group, led by the RSS-backed Muslim outfit Muslim Rashtriya Manjhi (MRM), set out from Lucknow on January 25, media in-charge of MRM Shahid Saeed said on Wednesday.

He said a group of 350 Muslim devotees chanting “Jai Shri Ram” walked for about 150 kilometers in freezing cold conditions and reached Ayodhya on Tuesday. He added that they stopped to rest every 25 kilometers and continued on their way the next morning.

Six days later, devotees arrived in Ayodhya with worn-out shoes and tired feet to pay homage to the newly consecrated idol of Ram Lalla, Saeed said.

“The devotees consider this solemn darshan of Imam Sindram a lasting and precious memory,” he said, adding that this act by the Muslim devotees conveyed the message of unity, integrity, sovereignty and harmony. information.

After the darshan, MRM convener Raja Raees and provincial coordinator Sher Ali Khan, who leads the group, said Lord Ram is the ancestor of all people.

Raees and Khan emphasized that love for country and humanity takes precedence over religion, caste and creed. They stressed that no religion teaches criticism, ridicule or contempt for others.
