Xiaomi has been selling the popular Redmi Note lineup in the market for many years and soon the brand may see a new Note that may give buyers more options. Realme has teased its own Note lineup that could be introduced in the coming weeks, as reported in a post this week. Realme is making some big changes to its product lineup and early 2024 may see several launches from the company.

The Realme Note model is expected to compete with Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 13 and other brands like Infinix, which also has a Note model. The affordable 5G segment is definitely seeing a lot of interest from brands this year and we expect there to be more devices in this range to target buyers who will be among the many who have been waiting to try a 5G device in the country. Realme Note phone launch: What can we expect from the new Xiaomi rival?

The Realme Note is likely to be marketed as a value-for-money series, something Xiaomi has done really well with the Redmi Note over the past few years. But it seems the focus on the Redmi Notes has now moved up the price ladder, giving other brands a chance to target consumers. Realme Note phone can get 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro sensor with 108MP primary rear camera.

The brand may pack a 5000mAh battery that is likely to support 67W wired charging speeds which sounds ambitious but we are curious to see if that happens. When it comes to performance, Realme is said to use the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 mid-range chipset for the Note series, which should allow the brand to keep the pricing at a more attractive range. We expect the device to run Android 14-based Realme UI, which should give it a definite advantage over other budget 5G phones.

Based on all these rumors, one can expect the Realme Note to launch at around Rs 13,000, if not a little higher, which gives it enough room to compete and attract buyers. The big question is whether the Realme Note series will come to markets like India, where there are already other models in the same price range.
