Paul McCartney’s fan gets reaction after 60 years of expressing love

A woman named Adrienne, who professed her love for Paul McCartney 60 years ago, has finally received a response from the Beatles musician.

In a video shared to TikTok and Instagram on May 3, the 81-year-old musician responded to Adrienne’s love declaration, which was captured in an earlier video, surrounded by fellow fans.

“Paul McCartney, if you’re listening, Adrienne from Brooklyn loves you with all my heart,” Adrienne is heard speaking into the microphone in an old clip.

The video then cuts to present-day McCartney, who says, “Hey, Adrienne. Listen, it’s Paul. I saw your video. I’m in Brooklyn right now. I’m in New York. I finally got here. We meet. Went.” An exhibition, a photo exhibition, come and see it.”

The music legend was referring to the collection exhibit “Paul McCartney Photographs 1963-64: Eyes of the Storm,” which opened at the Brooklyn Museum on Friday, May 3, and runs through Aug. 18.

According to the museum’s website, the show includes more than 250 photographs taken by McCartney with his Pentax camera during “the craze of Beatlemania in 1963–64, when the band’s first American tour propelled them to superstardom”.

The relevance of the retro video was highlighted in the caption: “60 years after the Beatles arrived in New York on their first visit to America, Paul’s photographic record of ‘Beatlemania’ is now on display at the @BrooklynMuseum!”

Muse also gave another shout-out to Adrienne: “And Adrienne from Brooklyn, if you’re listening, Paul McCartney from Liverpool loves you too.”
