A woman who stalked Harry Styles has been jailed and banned from his performances.
Myra Carvalho, 35, appeared at Harrow Crown Court at Hendon Magistrates’ Court in London, where she is said to have committed the crime in less than a month. The 30-year-old British singer sent 8,000 cards.
A court official said she was sentenced to 14 weeks in prison on Tuesday after admitting a charge of stalking involving severe alarm or distress.
Carvalho was also given a 10-year restraining order and told she could not participate in any activities that include: style is performing.

Carvalho, who had been staying at a backpackers hostel in Kensington and Chelsea, south-west London, was also ordered not to contact Styles, directly or indirectly.
The officer added that she had been told not to enter the area of north-west London described in court.
She was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £134.
