Renault India has set the stage for a new automotive experience with the recent launch of its updated MY2024 lineup, which includes the redesigned Kwid hatchback, Kiger SUV and Triber MPV.

The French auto giant aims to increase the appeal of its offerings in the Indian market by focusing on the Kwid hatchback with extensive facelift.

Priced between Rs 4.70 lakh and Rs 6.12 lakh (ex-showroom), the 2024 Renault Kwid flaunts a host of updates both on the exterior and in the cabin.

Interestingly, Renault has not only made several changes to the design but has also revised the prices, bringing down the overall cost of the 2024 Renault Kwid across all variants, as reported by HT.

Available in seven different variants, the new Kwid features significant price adjustment. For example, the Climber AMT variant is now priced at Rs 6.12 lakh (ex-showroom), down from Rs 6.33 lakh (ex-showroom) for the pre-facelift model.

The RXL (O) MT and RXT MT variants come with price cuts of Rs 21,000 and Rs 17,000 respectively compared to their pre-facelift counterparts.

Even the RXT AMT variant has seen a price cut of Rs 17,000, now priced at Rs 5.95 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the price of the base variant RXE MT has been retained at Rs 4.70 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 2024 Renault Kwid has introduced changes in its variant list compared to the pre-facelift model. The RXL MT variant has been discontinued, while the RXL (O) AMT has emerged as a new variant.

These complement the existing Metal Mustard with Black and Ice Cool White with Black options. Additionally, mono-tone color options include Ice Cool White, Fiery Red, Outback Bronze, Moonlight Silver and Zanskar Blue.

The 2024 Renault Kwid impresses not only with its aesthetic updates but also with the inclusion of new features. The main attraction is the 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is available from the RXL (O) variant onwards.

Earlier exclusive to the top RXT and Climber variants, this upgrade makes the Kwid the most affordable car equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system in India.

On the safety front, the new Kwid hatchback comes standard with rear seat belt reminder across all variants.

Other safety features, such as front seat belts with load limiter, driver seat belt with pretensioner, electronic stability program, traction control system, tire pressure monitoring system, front driver and passenger airbags, pedestrian protection, speed alert warning, ABS, brakes EBD assist and rear door child lock are also now included across the range.
