Water supply to remain closed for 16 hours on January 29 and 30: Delhi Jal Board

A Delhi Jal Board notice on Sunday said water supply will be affected in many areas on January 29 and 30 due to interconnection of water lines by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

Water supply will remain closed for 16 hours from 10 am on January 29 to 2 am on January 30 only in the park and surrounding areas.

“Only due to interconnection of 1100 mm diameter water line by DMRC on Arihant Marg in front of the park. The shutdown is required for 16 hours from 10 am on January 29 to 2 pm on January 30. Residents are advised to store adequate amount of water in advance as per requirement. Water tankers will be available on request,” the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) notice said.

The areas that will be affected include Kewal Park, Adarsh ​​Nagar, Majlis Park, Indira Nagar, Moolchand Colony, Azadpur Village, MCD Colony, Azadpur, Rameshwar Nagar, Suraj Nagar, parts of Model Town, Malik Pur Village and Panchvati.
