Princess Sophie seen in tension at royal event after historic Ukraine visit

Princess Sophie looked very beautiful at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, although at one moment she also appeared stressed.

The Duchess of Edinburgh looked as beautiful as ever in a navy skirt with her husband Prince Edward, 60, at the annual event in Windsor, Berkshire.

The mother of two styled her skirt with suede, a belted jacket and black boots, while the Duke of Edinburgh opted for a tweed jacket and blue trousers.

Sophie wore her blonde hair down and hung around her shoulders as she spoke to an official upon arriving at the event.

She boarded a small carriage as she was taken across the grounds before the event’s fourth day of action.

Sophie and Edward’s appearance at the Royal Windsor Horse Show is their second appearance this year.

It comes after she made history with her visit to Ukraine as she became the first member of the royal family to visit the country since the beginning of the conflict.

The palace shared photos of the duchess’s visit on social media.

According to the Palace, “The Duchess of Edinburgh becomes the first member of the royal family to visit Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion.

“Her Royal Highness met with President Zelensky and First Lady Olena Zelenska, as well as women, men and children affected by the war.”

Princess Sophie’s visit comes just days after King Charles announced he would return to public-facing duties this week.
