Infosys founder Narayana Murthy and his wife Sudha Murthy were recently seen with their daughter and UK First Lady Akshata Murthy and her daughters Anushka and Krishna at the Raghavendra Math in Bengaluru. A video viral on social media shows the family checking books at the monastery. The family was seen spending time checking out books at the monastery in casual clothes without any security detail.
While sharing the video, X user @Gurupra18160849 wrote, “UK PM Rishi Sunak’s wife and children were seen with Infosys founder Narayana Murthy at Raghavendra Math in Bengaluru. Their simplicity is visible, without any security.”

It is unknown when the video was shot. But this is not the first time the Murthy family has earned praise for its simplicity. Earlier this month, a picture of British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s wife Akshata Murthy with her father Narayana Murthy had surfaced on social media. In the picture, the father-daughter duo was seen eating ice cream at a popular spot in Bengaluru.

This month, Ms Akshata, along with her parents, also attended the launch event of author Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni’s latest book ””.An unusual love: the early life of Sudha and Narayana Murthy’, The event took place at St. Joseph’s College of Commerce, Bengaluru.

Notably, Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murthy visited India for the G20 summit in September last year. This was Mr Sunak’s first visit to India after becoming Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
At the G20 gala dinner hosted by President Draupadi Murmu, Mr Sunak and Ms Akshata were seen interacting with several Union ministers, including Nirmala Sitharaman and Ashwini Kumar Choubey. The couple also visited Akshardham temple in Delhi and offered prayers.
During their visit to the temple, the duo were welcomed by the Swamis as well as senior leaders of Akshardham Temple, who delivered a special message from Mahant Swami Maharaj, the spiritual leader of Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sansthan (BAPS). Mr Sunak spent almost an hour demonstrating at the temple ‘darshan and puja’ There.
