Lasith Malinga is a legend in T20 cricket and is responsible for coaching the next generation of bowlers for Mumbai Indians. In the Nets team, which he plays with some young players including Arjun Tendulkar, Malinga organized a bowling session where the players were tasked with hitting the lone stump at the other end of the pitch. Malinga is one of the legends of the game who played only for Mumbai Indians throughout his IPL career. In 122 games, he took 170 wickets at an average of 19.80 and an economy rate of 7.14. Fast forward to the current IPL season and Malinga has proven that he can still carry the ball and pass the ball if he dons the player’s jersey.

Five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) registered their first win of the season on Sunday as they defeated Delhi Capitals. In the process, MI also created history at the Wankhede Stadium by notching their 150th win in T20 cricket, the most by any cricket team. The blue and gold team achieved the milestone while taking on Delhi Capitals (DC) in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match in Mumbai.
