Vivo V30e will be launched in India soon. The company has previously revealed the phone’s design. Now, Vivo has revealed the complete design, color options, and key features of the phone. It also announced the launch date in the country. The upcoming smartphone will join the Vivo V30 series, which includes Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro. The existing Vivo V30 phone was launched in India in March this year.

The company confirmed in a statement postal Vivo V30e will be launched in India on May 2 at 12 noon (IST) on X (formerly known as Twitter). The phone’s Vivo India microsite has been updated to reveal some of its key details. It has a large circular camera module in the upper left corner of the rear panel. It houses two camera sensors and an Aura Light unit. The phone is confirmed to be available in two color options – Silk Blue and Velvet Red.

Both the Silk Blue and Velvet Red options of the Vivo V30e feature a dual-patterned rear panel, but the latter appears to have a matte finish. A pattern strip runs vertically down the right side of the rear panel. The phone is also confirmed to feature an ultra-thin 3D curved display. It has slim bezels and a center-punch notch for the front-facing camera at the top. The power button and volume rocker are located on the right edge of the phone.

In terms of optics, the Vivo V30e features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 portrait sensor at the back with 50mm main focal length and 2x optical zoom and a 50-megapixel AI-powered selfie camera sensor at the front with autofocus. The phone is said to be the thinnest in the segment and has a battery capacity of 5,500mAh. According to the fine print on the microsite, the phone is 7.69mm thick.

Previous leaks suggested that the Vivo V30e may be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC and 8GB RAM. It is also expected to ship with Android 14-based operating system.
