Video of dead ant in samosa in Delhi University canteen shocked internet

The video attracted widespread attention on social media.

A video of dead ants inside samosas bought from a Delhi college canteen is reportedly doing the rounds on the internet. The video sparked disgust among social media users, with many demanding action against the canteen owner. The video, shared a week ago on Instagram page @du__india, claimed that the samosas were purchased from the canteen of Delhi University’s Dyal Singh College. It has recently begun to gain traction on social media.

“Ants were found in the mines of Dal Singh College. My friends and I purchased the food from the canteen of Dal Singh College and found ants in the food,” the caption said.

The post also issued a warning not to purchase food from the college cafeteria.

Delhi University has not responded so far.

But the comments section was filled with disgust and humor. Users emphasize that this is no longer a surprise to anyone, as instances of such adulterated foods are increasing.

“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it, just extra protein,” one user commented. “Chiti meal,” said another.

“How cute, they are feeding the ants too! Well done to Delhi University,” a third user commented.

One user said that the same thing happened to him when he was in Atma Ram Sanatan Buddhist Institute.

Last year, another disturbing video surfaced on social media exposing shocking hygiene issues in campus cafeterias. Video from OP Jindal Global University shows a worker standing inside a large container, mashing potatoes with his feet.
