The executive producer of celebrity gossip site TMZ has expressed doubts about the authenticity of a video it recently aired of Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales.British tabloid The Sun also published the video, which allegedly shows Princess Kate goes shopping with husband Prince William March 16, at a farm store.

This is the Duchess of Cambridge’s first video since her surgery in January. However, this did not alleviate concerns about the health and whereabouts of the royal family, but instead triggered a frenzy among social media users Questioning whether the person in the video is actually Kate.

TMZ’s initial report quoted onlookers as saying Kate looked “happy, relaxed and healthy.” The outlet also stressed that this was the “first actual sight” of a member of the royal family and that it was “100% her” in the video.

However, TMZ executive producer Charles Latibeaudiere now has his doubts.

“I go back and forth,” Lathibaudier said. “My gut feeling was it was her, but then I saw the comments and content people posted explaining why they didn’t think it was her, and they had certain opinions – her height compared to William, her eyeliner when she looked Where normal is, something about her chin… even the way she walks.”

Lathibaudier acknowledged that some viewers also questioned Prince William’s identity. “It does look a lot like William, but even so … some people still think it might not be him,” he said.

Producers further questioned the reasons for Kate’s continued absence and Buckingham Palace’s lack of transparency.

“Why would the palace be involved in another scam?” he asked. “Mother’s Day photo mistake, why do it again? But then I thought, they’re not going to do it again, are they?”

Charles was referring to a Mother’s Day portrait of Kate and her three children posted on social media by Buckingham Palace, which later turned out to have been edited.Princess Apologize and take responsibility for changing the image.

Video of the shopping trip has reignited speculation and conspiracy theories on social media. Many claimed that the woman seen in the video was not Kate Middleton. Reality TV producer and talk show host Andy Cohen also weighed in, posting on X: “That’s not Kate…”

Others claimed it was a lookalike or stand-in for the princess and that the video was staged. Despite all the crazy claims flying around, Buckingham Palace has yet to make an official statement about the video or its release.
