Kohli hopes to emulate Royal Challengers Bangalore Women’s WPL title-winning feat and add the IPL trophy to the team’s cupboard in the next edition of the league starting from March 22.

Royal Challengers beat Delhi Capitals to claim the second edition of the Women’s Super League title on Sunday, but their men’s side have been waiting for their title moment for the past 16 years.

“It’s absolutely amazing. We were all watching when they won the title (WPL). Hopefully we can double the trophy and it will be something really special,” Kohli said at the RCB Unbox event.

Kohli, who will start his 17th season with RCB in IPL 2024, said he will rely on his skills and experience to turn his dream of winning the IPL trophy this year into a reality.

“My dream is to know what it feels like to win the IPL trophy. I will be here and be part of the team that wins the trophy for the first time. “I will use my abilities and experience to do my best to be able to serve the fans and the ball. The team does that,” said the former RCB captain.
