Cupertino, California, United States

If you have an Apple iPhone 15 Pro model and you’ve been yearning to experience Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding: Director’s Cut, a game that was initially exclusive to PlayStation platforms, then you’re in luck. Apple’s Macs and iPads powered by M-series silicon, and the new iPhone 15 Pro models powered by the A17 Pro chipset, will be able to run the game when they launch later this month.

The game is currently available for pre-order on the Apple App Store for Rs 1,999 in India and US$19.99 in the United States. It will be available to play from January 31st of this month. A single purchase provides access to play on multiple devices such as iPad, Mac or iPhone.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut has been a long time coming to the iPhone 15 Pro and was first announced at the Apple WWDC 2023 event as an incentive to explore and harness the power of Apple M-series silicon.

The game itself is based on a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by BT, and the world has to rely on ‘porters’ such as main protagonist Sam Bridges to obtain medicine and other essentials. The game world is connected, and you can see many structures that other players have built.

The game is also cross-platform compatible, meaning the same user can share save data and play between iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Additionally, it also includes a photo mode and collaboration content with Valve’s ‘Half-Life’ and CD Projekt Red’s ‘Cyberpunk 2077’.
