Singh gave information about Ayodhya firing incident.

What was Ayodhya firing?

In September 1990, when the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Shiv Sena launched a campaign demanding the construction of a Ram temple at the Ram Janmabhoomi site in Ayodhya, the situation became unstable after L. K. Advani assumed power. Went. A Rath Yatra and gathering of crowd at the venue by VHP.

Then Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party founding member Mulayam Singh announced a complete lockdown in Ayodhya, and assured everyone that “no bird will be able to fly over Ayodhya”. On October 30, 1990, a large number of Kar Sevaks reached Ayodhya and were stopped by security forces, following which the police opened fire. On 2 November the police opened fire on the Kar Sevaks for the second time, killing about 17 of them.

‘Think about Treta Yuga’

In his address at the consecration ceremony of Lord Ram’s statue in Ayodhya today led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Adityanath said the 500-year-old dream of the people of India has come true. He said that this was the first time in history that a dominant community had to struggle for so long to give its God his rightful place.

He said that there are some feelings in his heart which cannot be expressed in words. “This is the time when everyone is emotional and happy. At this historic moment, every city and village in the country has turned into Ayodhya, and every road seems to be leading to the Ram Janmabhoomi,” he said.

He also participated in the Ram temple rituals in which PM Modi was the chief devotee.

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony took place during the ‘Abhijeet’ Muhurat, between 12:29:03 pm and 12:30:35 pm, over a period of only 84 seconds.

The CM also said that the transformation of the ‘holy city’ will remind people of ‘Treta Yug’. “You should visit Ayodhya after January 22, it will make you think about ‘Treta Yuga’.”

However, the mega event was boycotted by the Congress and some other opposition parties – most of them part of the Indian National Democratic Inclusive Alliance (INDIA). He called the event a “political event by the BJP”.

Shankaracharyas of Govardhan Peeth in Puri in Odisha and Jyotir Math in Chamoli in Uttarakhand did not attend today’s event in Ayodhya, citing PM Modi’s presence in the sanctum sanctorum among other reasons.
