Hero MotoCorp Bajaj is planning to strengthen its model lineup in the Indian market with the launch of an all-new entry-level sporty motorcycle to take on the Pulsar NS 125 and TVS Raider.

The manufacturing company has been teasing motorcycle lovers with the Maverick for the past few days, but no information about the two-wheeler has been leaked yet. However, in the latest development, images of the Hero Xtreme 125R have been leaked online, clearly showing its design details, as reported by Gaadiwaadi.

The motorcycle will be powered by the same 124.7 cc air-cooled engine found in the Glamor 125. However, there is a possibility of fine-tuning the engine to match the specific character of Hero Maverick. With the introduction of the 125R, the country’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer is looking forward to broadening the appeal of its Xtreme lineup to include a wider spectrum of riders. The Hero Xtreme 125R sports a crisp styling concept complemented by an in-your-face front profile with a muscular looking fuel tank and a headlight housed in a razor-sharp housing.

The fuel tank extensions sport 125R decals, while the contrasting blue finish of the front fender and tank extensions adds to the visual impact. It comes with an all-LED lighting system that includes slim LED turn indicators. The instrument console is likely to feature an LCD display with Bluetooth connectivity, the performance of which will come from the 124.7 cc air-cooled Fi unit.

The same powertrain can be found in the Glamor 125, and we expect the performance figures to be similar as well. It will produce 11 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 10.5 Nm of peak torque at 6,250 rpm. The powertrain will be mated to a five-speed gearbox.

Talking about the price, its price can be around Rs 2,000. The Raider 125 is priced at Rs 90,000 (ex-showroom).

A telescopic front fork, monoshock rear suspension, split seats, a wide handlebar, black-finished alloy wheels, a small fly screen, a compact rear end, and front and rear disc brakes supported by a single-channel ABS system (rear drum brake). on some models) are among other highlights. Compared to the Xtreme 160R, the overall design has evolved with added sportiness.

Furthermore, excitement is rising in the world of motorcycle lovers as Hero MotoCorp is all set to revolutionize the motorcycle industry with the global debut of its latest creation, the Hero Maverick 440 tomorrow.

The Maverick 440 is set to be the first Hero-branded motorcycle made in partnership with Harley-Davidson in India, aiming to differentiate itself from competitors in the market.
