The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 opener will be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium between the Chennai Super Kings and the Royal Challengers Bangalore, and will welcome a large crowd. In this case, even celebrities are finding it difficult to get tickets to this intense clash. Given that the match will pit two great cricketers – MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli – against each other, fans will leave no stone unturned by reaching the stadium on the day of the match.
Amid the scarcity of game tickets, an X user with a parody account of Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor thanked Ravichandran Ashwin and claimed that the player provided her with “box tickets”.
“Thank you Ashwin sir for the #CSKvRCB tickets. Excited to see Thala and King in Chepauk soon,” the user wrote on X.
“The least I can do is something for you,” Ashwin replied on the parody account. “By the way, can you send me those G Grandstand tickets in return for everything I’ve done for you?” he added.

Before this, the interaction between R Ashwin and Janhvi’s parody account also went viral on social media.

R Ashwin is one of the best-performing Indian cricketers of the past decade, but even after putting in so much effort, getting an IPL ticket seems like a daunting task like many others.
R Ashwin is a resident of Chennai and the first match of IPL 2024 will be played between MS Dhoni-led CSK and RCB.
However, the Rajasthan Royals player was shocked by the unexpected demand for tickets.
“The demand for tickets for #CSKvRCB #IPL2024 Chepauk opening ceremony is unreal. My kids want to watch the opening ceremony and the match. @ChennaiIPL please help,” he posted on X.
