‘The Last Kingdom’ actor Adrian Schiller dies at 60

British actor Adrian Schiller has died at the age of 60, his agent has confirmed.

Adrian Schiller is known for playing wealthy Sheriff Aethelhelm in the Netflix historical drama the last kingdom With butler Cornelius Penge in the ITV royal drama victoria.

“His death was sudden and unexpected and no further details are available at this time. He died far too soon and we are devastated by his loss,” the casting agent said in a statement.

Schiller is looking forward to continuing his international tour in San Francisco, according to his agent, and has recently appeared in theater productions Rayman Trilogy In Australia.

Outgoing National Theater director Rufus Norris paid special tribute to the late actor on social media, saying: “I am deeply saddened and shocked to have lost a member of our theater company.”

“Adrian is a fantastic actor and the National Theater has been delighted to work with him throughout his career,” he said.

“He recently gave an outstanding performance as Henry Lehman in the Australian premiere of The Lehman Trilogy and his presence with the company will be sorely missed.”

Schiller also appeared in two episodes of British Broadcasting Corporation Detective series set in the Caribbean Death in Paradise as Pasha Verdinikov.
