You must register with Apple as a developer for free. Participants must also be registered with an academic institution.

Apple expects App Playground submissions to be ZIP files. Make sure that the created application can be used without using a network connection, as the application will be judged as offline. File size cannot exceed 25MB. This work must be developed by individuals and may not involve groups. The app Playground should run on Swift Playgrounds 4.4 or later, which requires the latest iPadOS or macOS version. Apple allows you to use Apple Pencil, but the content can only be in English.
