Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed that Apple may be planning to expand the availability of the Vision Pro to the rest of the world ahead of its WWDC 2024 event.

The Apple Vision Pro will be available for pre-order in a few days in the United States, starting on January 19. After this the product will be launched on 2 February.

As the media gets their hands on the product for review, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed that Apple may be planning to expand the availability of the Vision Pro to the rest of the world ahead of its WWDC 2024 event.

For the uninitiated, the Apple Vision Pro mixed-reality headset is currently limited to the United States, and Apple has not revealed when it will be available in other regions.

Ming-Chi Kuo says that if Apple releases the headset before WWDC, it will help the iPhone maker promote “VisionOS’s global development ecosystem.” Furthermore, he said that Apple would not initially release the Vision Pro outside the United States because supply is limited.

It also wants to test the possibilities in the US market and see the reaction. Another reason for not launching the headset is that it would have to modify existing algorithms to comply with regulations in other countries.

That being said, it’s unclear in which regions Apple plans to launch

Vision Pro after United States. Reports indicate that the United Kingdom,

China and Canada may be next in line. Also available in the United States

Initially limited, the headset was expected to produce around 80,000 units.

Available at launch, and stock may sell out quickly.
