It was the last sighting of a teenage girl who disappeared a month ago after being seen arm-in-arm with a mystery man.

The pair were caught on CCTV shopping before heading to London’s Paddington station, with police asking the man to come forward and provide details.

Linh Hoang, who turned 18 on Tuesday, was last seen at 12.30pm on March 2 when she failed to return to her care place in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.

Wiltshire Police said the teenager left a note indicating she wished to leave the home.

She is also believed to have links to the Gloucester area.

Detective Inspector Justin Downes said: “We are increasingly concerned for Lin’s welfare. The fact that we have not heard from her for a month is deeply concerning and our priority is to ensure that she The safety and health of the young woman.

“We know nothing about the man she was traveling with and while she does not appear to be under any form of coercion, we would also like to know his identity and speak to him about Linh.

“We are urgently asking anyone who recognizes her or the man who traveled to London with her to contact us.”
