Taylor Swift’s new album release coincides with romance rumors.

Taylor Swift surprises her loyal fans by curating five heartbreak-themed Apple Music playlists ahead of album release this Ministry of Tormented Poets.

Speculation is rife that Swift’s upcoming album is centered around the stages of grief.

Fans will find a curated selection of Swift’s past songs on each playlist, including songs like bad blood and we are never ever getting back together.

These playlists are inspired by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross’s famous five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance.

Swift launches her first Apple Music playlist called “I Love You and It’s Ruining My Life,” featuring old Taylor Swift songs that stem from the denial phase of grief resonance.

In a personal message preceding the playlist, the singer delves into the theme of being so attracted to an idea that you ignore red flags, leading to moments of denial or even delusion.

The singer sees channeling anger into songwriting as a means of catharsis, emphasizing the therapeutic nature of creative expression.

Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department” will be released on April 19.
