West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service is preparing for rescue operations in the seaside town of Littlehampton as hundreds of flood warnings are issued across the country in the wake of Storm Catherine.

A wind warning is in place for the south coast of England until 3pm and for the west coast of Wales and parts of northern England until 3pm on Tuesday, warning of possible power outages and travel disruptions.
