Kapu felt “good” taking wickets with the new ball to help her team enter the final game of the tournament.

When I think they might try In circles, or they’ll run towards me or cross the line, I’ll try a few different things, usually while I’m running. But if they do those things and I stick to what I do best, it usually works So I just try to keep it simple, hit my hard back length, bowl line and length and try to bowl as many dot balls as I can,” Kapu was quoted as saying by ESPNCricinfo.

“It’s obviously good to have my team in the final. It’s always good to contribute with the new ball and take wickets. I feel that’s very important in the T20 format, especially in these leagues because the top Orders are very important for international players, “especially the big favorites. So I feel what T20 cricket needs is wickets, early wickets,” she added.
