She began her career in Canada at the age of 17 after appearing in the pilot episode of the Canadian television series Wojeck, directed by Mike Nichols.

My deepest condolences go out to her husband of 47 years, James D’Auria, and their many friends.”

The former couple married in 1968 and divorced in 1971.
