Union Minister Smriti Irani lashed out at Rahul Gandhi, saying many like him have come and gone but “Hindustan is, was and will continue to be.”

“If my voice reaches Rahul Gandhi, then I want to tell him that many like you have come and many have gone; Hindustan is, was and will remain,” Smriti Irani said on Saturday.

Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Israeli held a campaign event at the YMCA auditorium in Veppery district of Chennai in support of the central candidate of the Chennai People’s Party Vinodj P. Selvam (Vinoj P Selvam).

Addressing a rally, Ms. Irani emphasized the importance of completion of Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

“In some states of this country, CBI partners are killing people for saying ‘Jai Shri Ram’. This is happening in West Bengal and Kerala. Polling for all 39 Lok Sabha seats in Tamil Nadu and the lone constituency in Puducherry will go to polls in the first phase on April 19.

In the 2019 general election polls, the DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance, comprising the Congress, VCK, MDMK, CPI, CPI(M), IUML, MMK, KMDK, TVK and AIFB, achieved a landslide victory, winning 38 seats. 39 seats.

The DMK-led alliance won 38 of the 39 seats in a landslide. The Congress party, which was also part of the alliance, won 8 out of the 9 seats contested.
