Skoda Slavia Style Edition limited to just 500 units: here’s everything you need to know

Skoda It recently launched the new Style Edition of its popular Slavia sedan priced at Rs 19.13 lakh (ex-showroom).

This limited edition is Rs 30,000 more expensive than the top-spec Style trim and comes in exclusive shades like Candy White, Brilliant Silver and Tornado Red. Limited to just 500 units, this edition follows in the footsteps of previous special editions such as the Matte Edition, Elegant Edition and Lava Blue Edition.

What’s new in the Skoda Slavia Style Edition?

The Skoda Slavia Style Edition comes with some cool new features. Inspired by the Volkswagen Taigun Trail Edition, it now features dual dashboard cameras for added extra safety. In addition, it comes with a puddle light for added convenience.

In terms of appearance, the Style Edition uses blackened rearview mirrors, B-pillars and roof, giving it a distinctive look. You’ll also notice stylish “Edition” badges on the B-pillars and steering wheel, as well as “Style” branding on the scuff plates.

The Style Edition inherits many features from the Style trim, including a sunroof, power ventilated front seats, and a 10-inch infotainment unit.

Under the hood, the Style Edition gets a single powertrain option – a powerful 150hp, 250Nm, 1.5-litre TSI engine mated to a responsive 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. This combination allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.96 seconds.

The Skoda Slavia Style Edition faces stiff competition from other mid-size sedans like Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City and Maruti Ciaz. With its blend of style, performance and functionality, it aims to carve out a niche in this highly competitive segment.
