Sadhguru undergoes emergency brain surgery at Delhi’s Apollo Hospitals

Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, who is recovering after undergoing emergency brain surgery at Delhi’s Apollo Hospitals, shared an update in which he was seen reading a newspaper.

In a 19-second video with slow music in the background, Sadhguru can be seen reading a newspaper in the hospital room. The video has been posted on Sadhguru’s X social media handle with the hashtag #Sadhguru #SpeedyRecovery.

In an X post on March 23, Sadhguru shared a poem titled “Lost Me in You.”

“In extreme pain and pleasure, in extreme prosperity and peace. This science of understanding inner mechanisms has never let me down. Living a life of extreme discipline and indulgence, experiencing peaks, valleys and plains, why am I I’m still here,” it read.

“Just love to you, you and all that moves and doesn’t move. Overwhelming love from all of you. Forever grateful to be wrapped in your love. You and I have been there since I lost mine in Where? You,” it further reads.

Sadhguru suffered life-threatening bleeding in his skull and underwent emergency brain surgery at Delhi’s Apollo Hospitals.

On March 20, Dr. Vinit Suri, senior consultant neurologist at Apollo Hospitals, who examined Sadhguru, shared an update on the spiritual guru’s health.

“He has been suffering from headaches for the past four weeks. The headaches were very severe but he ignored it as he had to do normal activities. He even performed Mahashivratri on March 8 despite the fact that he was in extreme pain. March 15 The pain became severe on the day, and then he came to consult me. At 4 pm, I suggested him to have an MRI, but at 6 pm, he had a very important meeting and did not want to miss it. But the MRI was done later, and the MRI showed that his There was a massive bleed in the brain. The bleed was on the outside of the brain and underneath the bone. There were two massive bleeds – the first about three weeks ago and the second about two weeks ago and three days ago.”

A team of doctors including Dr Vinit Suri, Dr Pranav Kumar, Dr Sudheer Tyagi and Dr S Chatterjee performed surgery to stop the bleeding within hours of admission. After the operation, Sadhguru was weaned off the ventilator.
