Spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev is recovering well and undergoing emergency brain surgery at a private hospital after suffering “life-threatening” bleeding in his skull, the Isha Foundation said on Thursday. Steady progress was made.

In an Instagram Story posted on Wednesday, Sadhguru’s daughter Radhe Jaggi wrote: “For those asking, Sadhguru is doing well and recovering quickly.” Isha “Sadhguru is recovering well and making steady progress. Indraprastha Apollo Hospital said in a statement on Wednesday, “The surgery was performed on March 17 to eliminate the bleeding in the skull. After the surgery, Sadhguru was taken off the ventilator.” The hospital said he has shown “steady improvement,” Important parameters have improved.”

Sadhguru also posted a video from his hospital bed on his Instagram account. “The neurosurgeons at Apollo Hospitals cut open my skull and tried to find something but found nothing – completely empty.
