Sarfaraz Khan has been in the spotlight ever since his Test debut in India. His camaraderie with his teammates, especially captain Rohit Sharma, is obvious to all. On the first day of the fifth Test against England in Dharamshala, the camaraderie between Rohit and Sarfaraz was once again witnessed when the Indian captain decided to lift the young lad and put him on the field somewhere. To be fair, the pair’s bond has grown even stronger since Sarfaraz made his Test debut.

As for the match, the attack from openers Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal put India in control of the match on the first day of the final against England.
At the end of the day, India were 135/1, trailing by 83 runs, with Rohit and Shubman Gill remaining unbeaten with scores of 52* and 26* respectively. England were bowled out for 218 in the first innings.
Ravichandran Ashwin cleared England after Kuldeep Yadav took 5 wickets for 72 runs at the picturesque stadium tail.
Rohit smashed boundaries in the company of Yashashvi Jaiswal and put pressure on the England bowlers. The duo shared a partnership of 104 for the first wicket. Jaiswal scored a delightful 55 in the 21st over and reached his half-century.
Shubman Gill was in trouble after his 104-run opening partnership ended. The 24-year-old recorded an unbeaten 31-match run to ensure India did not lose any more wickets.
